🐑 What happens during the experience?
You'll start by heading out to the fields to meet our lovely Zwartbles sheep — you'll get to feed them, brush them and have a proper cuddle. Then we'll head inside where you'll learn how to needle felt your very own mini woolly sheep to take home. We round it all off with tea, biscuits and a good natter. The whole experience lasts about 3 hours.
👥 How many people do I need to book for?
Our minimum booking is for 2 people. Coming on your own? Don't worry — drop us a message and we can sometimes fit you in with another group. We don't want anyone to miss out!
🎉 Do you do hen parties and private group bookings?
Absolutely! We love hosting hen parties, birthday celebrations and private group events. We take private groups of between 4 and 10 people — it's such a fun and unique way to celebrate. Get in touch to arrange your date and we'll make sure the sheep roll out the red carpet for you!
🤰 Can I visit if I'm pregnant?
Unfortunately we're unable to allow pregnant visitors to take part in the sheep encounter. There is a risk of toxoplasmosis associated with contact with sheep — and while our sheep don't carry it, we really don't want to take any chances with your health or your baby's. Your safety comes first and we'd love to welcome you back after your little one arrives!
👟 What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are a must! Our sheep are friendly but they can be a bit clumsy — if one stands on your foot in sandals you'll definitely know about it. Wellies or sturdy boots are ideal.
We meet the sheep outside first, and this is Wales so it can rain (shocking, we know!). Please dress for the weather — a waterproof jacket and layers are always a good shout. Once we head inside for the felting, you'll be nice and cosy.
📍 Where are you based?
We're at Meadow House in Trevalyn, Rossett, Wrexham, LL12 0BT — right on the border between Chester and Wrexham. We're really easy to find and there's parking on site. Full directions will be sent when you book.
🧒 Is it suitable for children?
Yes! Children aged 12 and up are very welcome. The sheep love a fuss, and kids really enjoy the felting too. Younger children will need alot of help with the needle felting.
🎨 Do I need any experience with felting?
Not at all — complete beginners are more than welcome! We'll guide you through the whole process step by step. By the end you'll have your very own felted sheep and you'll be amazed at what you've created. It's honestly so relaxing and satisfying.
🫖 Is food and drink included?
Yes! Tea, coffee and biscuits are all included in your experience. You can sit back, have a brew and admire your woolly creation. If you have any dietary requirements, just let us know when you book.
❌ What's your cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your session. We totally understand that plans change — life happens! Just drop us a message and we'll sort it out.
